Gale is the one who needs to get a grip.You don't go around pushing a referee with 2 hands.
If players get away with it the referee loses authority with the players.
We don't want to end up like football where the players treat the refs with no respect and mouth off to them all the time.

Feels like plenty of posters are expecting him to be leaving Leeds, certainly the standard "he was never that good anyway" attitude that former players often get is building momentum.

Certainly an element of that. At the same time, I wouldn't describe a lot of what he's done here as memorable. Hopefully there's time for that to change
