| Quote RHINO-MARK="RHINO-MARK"How isn't it in our hands to stay in SL?
You do know we'd play 4 championship teams & Salford & Widnes right?
We stay in SL easily the Championship top 4 aren't these RL Giants many seem to think.'"
Whats the structure for 2019? Does winning promotion in the qualifiers guarantee a position back in SL for 2019?

| Cas bending over against Huddersfield, just to deliberately spite us. Hopefully Hulls need of a win to stay in contention will ensure they don't roll over against wakefield tomorrow, but reckon Huddersfield will allow Wakey to beat them next week.
But it's our own fault 3 points from last 24 available as put us in this position.

| McShane looked rather too happy at the end to be on the losing side, big grins all round shaking hands with the Hudds players. OTOH Powell looked miserable for most of the game.

What a pile of twaddle!
Cas was beaten by a better team. The current form team in the comp. Don’t flatter yourself that Cas would rather see you in the bottom 8 than go second after hudds left the door open by beating Wigan too.
As for the idea of allowing wakey to win next week- absolutely no chance- we are more bothered about finishing 5th than what happens to you. FWIW I’d rather see you in the top 8 than wakey.

| Agree with jools. I heard all this tosh on the Carnegie terrace last night and that Hull will let Wakey win etc. Doing Hudds a great disservice as they are playing well at the moment. We are where we are because of us not Cas or Hull. The Super 8s look like it'll just be jockeying for position to avoid Saints so the Middle 8s looks like the more interesting comp. Throw in a trip to Toronto or Toulouse and what's not to like.

| Huddersfield and Catalans are two of the best teams in Super League, what a turn around they’ve had, it’s a shame neither can get into the top 4.
I expect Wakefield to beat a depleted Hull side tomorrow, we are middle 8’s bound

Spot on.
Plus McShane might have been grinning but he was probably our best player last night. There's no logic is us losing on purpose, we had a fantastic opportunity to not only grab 2nd but make it nailed on that we'd get 4th. Huddersfield were the best side I've seen down the lane this year maybe bar saints.

| I don't think for one minute Cas threw that game especially with a chance of going 2nd.
I actually thought that despite the loss of Hardaker Cas might have learnt a lesson in how to win big games.
But once again they seem to bottle it when a big game comes around.
Maybe they are the new St Helens.
On the other hand they have a better chance than us getting to OT this year!
