| Think i would have Golding on bench instead of Dwyer. Im happy with Golding covering full back/wing/hooker on bench.
Parcell isnt type to want a rest so he wouldnt need to play 9 for long if at all but i think hes done a job there when hes been there. Can use Dwyer spot for another forward then.

However I would like to see Moon back to 3, Lilley at 6 and Keinhorst off the bench to cover the forwards over Walters / Golding.'"
Golding has to play and best defensive fullback for the physical early changes. Not sure why you think Dwyer should play. Walker off the bench would add impact and Golding could move to 9 to keep Parcell fresh

they've probably sold only a 1000 tickets. sooper league is all that matter, it's on tv and they will win 60-0 anyway, they are that good.

60-0 eh, I wonder where you’ve picked that impression up from because it’s certainly not off this forum.

| I prefer playing players in their positions which is why I’d always have Dwyer coming on to spell Parcell.

| Just as I'd like to see Cuthbertson just concentrate on the dirty work, I'd also like Walker to start having more impact on games for longer periods. I've literally seen nothing from him yet to justify the once in a generation hype from last year. He's got talent but he needs to impose himself on play far more than he does. The odd break or pass doesn't cut it for me.

I think that’s slightly harsh on Walker. He’s been in and out with injury and his body is still developing physically. That aside, he’s made the step up to SL seemingly effortlessly and will get better and better. He always looks like he’s capable of breaking through the line, and as he develops physically he’ll be making more breaks.
I’ve no doubts whatsoever that, injuries permitting, he’ll be a big name in RL

| Actually I'm more having a pop at those who back every kid who plays a handful of decent games as the new messiah. I think Walker has a lot of potential but if you're being honest this year he hasn't done much apart from the odd highlight. Injuries or not he's scored just 2 tries since his debut in 20 games from last year to this. Golding has managed more than that. Lets be honest, neither of them have the influence of a really top class full back yet.
I know the game has changed a lot, but easily the best 18-year old I've seen in England was Garry Schofield. He was a far, far better player at 18 than either Walker or Golding. Now he was a once in a generation player. Like I say, its the overhyping that gets me.

icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.:icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg |

| Schofield played in a different era when he was one of the few full time players - well he didn't have another job!!
To be his was the Graham Hick of RL - a flat track bully - I cannot remember him having a dominant game in a match that really mattered i.e. a final or a deciding test.
On Walker it must be difficult playing under a coach that has no idea about attacking structure - every play is off the cuff, how is a full back supposed to fit into that type of non-structure.

| I agree Sal. there is no pattern or structure, no gameplan or shape. it worked perfectly when we had McGuire, sinfield etc. now it needs a different approach hence why I thin a change of coach h is needed

Talking about a kids undoubted potential doesn't equate to "overhyping".
Walkers potential is obvious & there's nothing wrong with recognising that plus his try count has no influence on that whatsoever.
How many try chances have we created for him exactly?
In the context of how he's emerged & how he's done thus far id say he deserves the praise for his potential.

Also put in perspective. In my younger days when offered a contract at 16, it was a £15,000 signing on fee and £8,000 per year in the first year, plus expenses. That was in 1988. Here we are in 2018, and first year academy are given a bonus of £4,000 (not all) and the general player is on £6,000 per year. God knows what Gary Schofield was on in those days.
And we wonder why our game is stuttering, and where the truely world class players are.
And your last sentence is pretty spot on.
