I don't see last week (and this season) as anything other than a blip in our constant super league dominance and Briscoe knows that.'"

Wigan backed it up the following year by winning the CC, not remember the 2011 final?

More so how your best players are over the hill, while are development is once again proving strong. Briscoe made a mistake, Leeds were actually lucky last Friday night not to have taken a really good smacking.
Shame how they ended the match with the likes of Bailey and Danny Mags trying to sh&thouse (basically highlighting what sore losers they are.

I like Peacock, but what a spent force he's become in the later half of the season, poor guy was out on his feet against Wigan. Shame thou how he has no respect for the bench not coming off when he's told to. His lack of respect and arrogance clearly got in the way there.

I just hope you keep playing Sinfield in the halves, probably the most overrated player on the planet, just sad to think he'll be England's 6.

I agree with some of what you say regarding leeds ageing players, but you are talking as if wigan are champions.

You still have a grand final to win on saturday you know.

Win or lose the GF we are still the winners of the CC. And of course there is a bigger picture of our youth development and ages of our first teamers.

Just look at the ages of the likes of:
Charnley
Thornley
Matty Smith (still only 26)
Taylor
Dudson
McM

the list goes on...

You do have a very promising spine to the team, with good exciting young players, but so do Leeds. We have 2 or 3 exceptional players to replace in the next 2 years, but we have started the transition already

There's two comps to win, the GF or CC, this year Wigan have won one and are in the final for another, basically they've had the most successful season of all clubs.
'The challenge cup is not the sign of a great team'-yet every team in the country will do what they can to win it.

Interesting comment from a Leeds fan.
