What's controversial about stating a truth?
He is way down the pecking order of props in this country, and therefore by definition "average".
We need to improve on what we have, and he isn't an improvement. Scott Taylor by contrast would be.
It appears posters go on about Amor, not because of an improvement, but just for the sake of change.

Not sure many of those 4 would be in the top 20 either.
Amor is young and has potential and was better than any of our props on Monday again.'"
JP was a machine on Monday, made huge yards and carried the rest of the forwards as best he could. The last 3 weeks he's really turned it around, been absolutely immense. Similarly, Griffin has really bossed the forwards when he's been given reasonable game time. I'd like to see Griffins minutes increase, and more rest for JP.
Given we're seeing the back of Smith & Webb, and I'd expect Hauraki, with Ward going up in salary, and potentially Amor coming back, there's at least room for 1 extra big money signing. That said, I wouldn't be too sad if Moore went, and we need to look at Kirke (despite his improved displays) and what he can offer, now being 30.
Lastly, Clarkson's not even making the 17 any more, and a decision needs to be made on his future.

I've seen all three Leeds Wakefield games and for large parts he's been the best prop on the field.

Raleigh was easily the best prop in the last two games. Where's the clamour for his signing?
I would even debtate Amor was as good as a couple of the Leeds props in both games. But like I said, I think posters are just looking for a change in personell for changes sake, rather than what is needed.

| I thought Griffin was the best prop in the game personally.

Peacock ? Easily 'bossed'. Our best prop was Griffin, but he was still second fiddle to the Wakey two.
You always seems to overlook the little matter of contracts when regaling us with your 'solutions'

The point though surely is that Amor is [ialready[/i a contracted Leeds player !!!
He might not be the best in SL, but he is better than what we presently have to compare with in the present 1st team squad choices......and that is going to be even more glaringly obvious next season, when all are yet another year older.

I guess we have a difference of opinion.
Perhaps the "clamour" for Kyle is that he's 25 with his best years ahead of him. Not something that can be said about many of our props. Having seen young props like Burgess and Scruton developed and lost that might explain why there's a clamour when our front row are pensionable age and we have a prop contracted who's young and doing a damn fine job for Wakefield.
We can have a difference of opinion about how good Amor is, I can live with that. However, I think the opinions of the Wakefield fans who watch him week in week out are fairly illustrative. They seem desperate to keep him. I've never seen Cas fans show such desperation that they retain Huby but, in fairness, that might be because no other fans have ever coveted him.

Spot on mate. Why bring Raleigh into the discussion when we are talking about the recalling of one of our players.
Next season JP and Kylie will be another year older and most likely less effective than they are now.
Bringing Amor back is a no brainer.
We need to spare both Kylie and JP over the next few games so they are ready for the CCF.
I would rest JJB too for that matter.

| Amor is as good as any prop we have but his best years are still to come. A no brainer. He must be retained

| He is also contracted to Wakefield as part of the deal. Leeds had up to the close of business 31/7 to recall him as a Leeds player. Leeds didnt so I believe Kyle will be at wakefield from now on, However all parties have said this decision is now the end of the season, I am sure there will be a contract with a signature on confirming the recall etc. I would be very surprised to see him back at Leeds.
