Though you do have to take into account the fact that the SL game in September was to effectively decide who won the league and so would obviously attract more than usual. Evidenced by the fact that the equivalent SL game for 2008 got a crowd of 18,303.

Compared to going to the KC for the regular season game though, it's £20 cheaper. Also, 8 pints! Think of your liver!
