Is there really any correlation between our increase in crowds and the demise of Leeds United?
Other than some ill informed opinion from opposition fans does anyone have any conclusive evidence to support that theory?

In terms of numbers there is a correlation. Whether it is attributable to the success of the rhinos, or the demise of LUFC is another matter..

The chap who has the two seats next to me was a season ticket holder at Elland Road for 25+ years. He "switched" when George Graham was United Manager. He switched because of pricing, not the success or otherwise of either side.
I think the success of the Rhinos will have more bearing on our attendances that the success of United. |

Indeed
In fact you could argue that in 2006 our crowds dropped BECAUSE LUFC had been relegated, and again in 2008.
The only real fact around here is that the Wigan fan has no facts at his disposal - until now. |

| As long as the stand is clean, well maintained and access is improved i couldnt give a monkeys. I dont eat the tripe that passes for food in the ground (wilsons exempted  ) for it is of a poor quality.
The main thing for me is the access, having a stand with people forced to stand in the yellow gangways blocking access into and out of the stand is not an ideal situation to be in, heaven forbid something serious ever happing at the back of the stand. |
