Quote Dave Heron's Moustache="Dave Heron's Moustache"Actually we were almost on the 20 and it was tackle 3 I believe. One drive up the middle against a still retreating Cas defensive line and then a drop from 25 out slap in front should have been a no brainer.'"
Correct. From the tap restart Smith took it up, tackle one. Webb, Lauitiiti, Senior and McGuire moved it to Hall, tackle two. Buderus to McGuire and the rest is history.
The textbook play from tackle two was to drive towards the posts on tackle three and then take the one pointer on tackle four, five or six whenever a clear opportunity arose.
What McGuire did was wrong, no wonder he was jumping around when Sinfield slotted the two.
