We don’t even have an assistant coach, let alone a finished squad. Competing will probably be beyond us. Pretty poor really, from the messsges they put out before season ticket deadlines.
However, do think we will win some of the type of games we lost in last few years, if in same position. More direction and game management about us.

We were told we were getting new blood and a proper assistant. We went for Carr who did a great job helping us out of the poop last season. If we have gone back to someone who has been involved with the failure for last three years, then that backs up the point I made. |

Evalds would be a very smart signing and if we had to pay a transfer fee I’m cool with that. He is exactly the type of player with pace and a nose for the line we are crying out for and despite it being late and Salford not wanting to do a deal money talks.
It’s Christmas let’s wish!
As for Chev good luck to him and I hope it works out..don’t write him off without a chance.

I think Evalds is a great player, but I see him as a fullback. If he came, at this stage of development, he would be ahead of Walker for me. Walker may have more potential, but I think Evalds has got that bit more experience and had a great season last season.
Would it not be better to sign a wing/? Having said that, not sure who is available.
