If O Connor was coming in then it had to be a back row to drop out. Briscoe very lucky to stay in especially at centre. I would have gone with broadbent but Agar possibly concerned about the size of the catalan centres

Some awful contact and movement in defence

We just don't seem to have punch in attack or defence.

We look apprehensive, nervous. We need a few tries to get some confidence. Then we will start to see a bit of swagger back with the ball and in defence.
