Interesting back line. However I’d be tempted to keep some consistency in positions where we can.

| Quote: The Magic Rat "Neither Ablett or Crosby have played this season, and both are missing again, with no return date mentioned.
Too much Salary cap is sitting in the stands was Sinfields quote last season, and Garbutt was shown the door for this reason by all accounts. Yet these 2 injury prone players were given 2 and 3 year? contracts.
Some very questionable decisions by the new director of rugby to say the least.'"
Better to get their long-term injuries seen to as opposed to playing them injured - something that was going on far too much at times under McDermott. Any SL club is going to have a given % of its squad in this position. I doubt Crosby and Ablett are taking up much cap space (at least I hope not).
I'd be more worried about Ward and Watkins sitting in the stands (not that this is the club's fault either). Get them back in at full fitness and we're a different team.

| Re. Handley there are just no better options at present, and he can be OK going forward. Not exactly Ryan Hall I’ll grant you.

He's crap. Most average wingers in the league are still very good finishers. He's a crap finisher. So even given the chances he doesn't take it often enough.
Your right the options are limited, but that doesn't hide him offering nothing.

| Agree with that Mark.
He is the least of our worries.
Not brilliant but not poor either.
The halves and the forwards are championship quality at best.
Our defence is shocking and the messiah has made some poor decisions since he took over.
But we do have a lovely stand.

| It's not his finishing, it's his hands that worry me. Every time he takes ball into contact, you wince expecting it to come free.

He might be low on worries right now in comparison to the halfs and forwards, but it is still a problem. You cant just say we need to plan for going forward in some positions, and ignore others. He is not the future, and therefore he is every bit the problem as the halfs and forwards are. Even just an half decent winger would excel outside Hurrell. He's had a lot of games now and nothing, so give the next poor option a go.

| What`s the winger like from Carnegie ? Niko or something.
Ex RL player and has size and pace apparently.
Most of this years squad are looking for new clubs as wage cuts hit.

And rushing in from his position. Highlighted acutely by Hulls first try when Nadolo had a run in cause Handley had a brain explosion.
Is Joe Vickery still a free agent?

Elijah Niko - used to play for the Storm.
Worth a punt i'd say.

| We need a new prop. Yea Handley is a big downgrade, especially from Ryan Hall, but a new winger won’t turn our season around. Sam Kasiano would be ideal, instead he makes his Catalans debut against us.
