| I agree about Morley.
it's the second most important job at the club, after first team coach.

| Im not from leeds so dont know anything about the coaches of the community teams but is there no highly rated coaches around the leeds area at that level that would of been a good choice and deserved a chance, maybe with the 16s and promote the 16s coach to 19s because he seems to do an excellent job,not sure if feesable or not, what do you think?

You seem very myopic when it comes to analysing games. The Hull semi was a classic of that - the second try according to you was an interference on Briscoe which to me he simply dropped it and the third try was a forward pass. There is never any comment from you when Leeds benefit from dodgy calls. You simply can't have it both ways'"
Sorry if you're selective with what you read from me as I mentioned penalties against JJB and Briscoe wrt to interference at kicks as spot on. As for the forward pass even Hull fans agreed it was so hardly myopic. Maybe stop being selective with what you read.

I think there is little point debating any further with you as you don't get the point - saying a blatant penalty is Ok is different from highlighting where Leeds have been fortunate from a dubious decision. Something you always highlight/ed when Leeds are on the receiving end.
You remind me of Paul Wellens during his playing days - there was never a legitimate try scored against Saints ever we he played.

seth could be the man for the job,im inerested to know what he thinks of appointments like that. Id much rather a successful coach of a community club whos proved to be a good coach at that level be given a chance rather than a great player who hasnt proved anything as a coach.

To be fair they have actually done that, except for in the case of Morley now, and before that they had players heading the under 16's. But the other coaches are all successfull junior coaches. The issues, do they then follow their way of success or the club led line going forward. I should have added here, i was mean under 16's for successfull junior coaches.

| Ha, not guilty! and wouldnt be putting myself forward. There are some scholarship coaches that have come through the amateur game and theyre good people, both the two main 19s academy coaches (morley included) haven't come through that pathway.

Im not coaching at the minute and have taken a break from it since the end of last season, its been nice to get out and see the 18s and 19s lads at their clubs this year as a spectator. I would like to return some day and do miss it, though at what level im not sure yet.

| Wasn't a criticism last year that we didn't have a proven player coaching our juniors or in the senior squad setup and how could they take Plume seriously with his lack of top flight experience. We now have one of the few English players to be successful in the NRL, GF winner both leagues, loads of England caps......

| Not sure if im understanding what gotcha means about the issues goin forward so sorry if this isnt relevent but what id like to see is for example the current 16s coach i dont know how long he's held that position but if its at least the last 2 year then he's done a great job,we'v barley lost a game,id like to see him promoted to the 19s and given a chance at that level and if he does well there who knows,a team like hunlet or york might give him a chance, then a well thought of community coach givin the 16s,like i said earlier i dont know anything about the local game or coaches in yorkshire but maybe somone like the siddal 16s coach,id imagine he's well respected? This is obviously provided coaches want the jobs.
I just like the idea of coaches bein rewarded for being good coaches and given pathways into the pro game,it would benefit them and would benefit the club imo
