I wouldn't be against a 4 year given his age but it would have to be very tight around the nrl clause lr him going awol.

4 years (imo) says we are building the team around you/ long term planning around it. Need to be sure the player and coach wants that

I wouldn't be surprised to see a 4 or even 5 year deal, with a NRL clause starting in six figures, and dropping after each year of service.

That should suit both parties.

Difficult balance really isn't it, 2 years wouldn't seem to justify the fee, 3 years would probably be right but could see 4 with clauses and I can't see him actually staying for 4.

Can't see it only being 2 years if we're paying a six figure transfer fee.
