I'd be more worried about your minute crowds being down so much.
7,131 average for a 'big team'. Behave. Only thing big about the Giants is their stadium. Too big infact...

Nope, your link shows the overall average attendance, with home and away figures combined.
Hopie's link (www.slstats.org/Home.html) shows the average home attendances which show that Wigan are in fact currently averaging more than us.
Current HOME average attendances are:
Wigan 16,653
Leeds 15,048
Bradford 14,103
Hull FC 12,297
Warrington 11,044
Catalans 8,298
Hull KR 8,262
St. Helens 8,043
Castleford 7,123
Huddersfield 7,008
Wakefield 6,546
Salford 4,417
Crusaders 3,438
Harlequins 3,083

That's interesting? I wonder why our away attendence is bigger than Wigan's?

Because Leeds haven't played Quins, Salford or Hudds away yet?

Attendance-wise, Huddersfield are SL rabble.
Current form might suggest they could get pipped for a Top 4 spot and remain SL rabble full stop.

I just wish TVOC had put him money where his statistics are.
Leeds will win another SL title before Huddersfield win their first, however long it might take us to get back on course.

Well, if you take the average home attendence of those three and the average home attendence of Hull and Warrington (Wigan's last two away games) and add those into the numbers it does make a difference, but not quite enough to put Wigan ahead. The actual number after the games themselves may be different of course, but apparantly (according to one of the many bragging threads we had after their crushing defeat of us at the Piedome) they travel with a massed army the size of Xerxes Persian hoards, and our fans all travel in a the back of a Vauxhall Cavalier.

If only that had been the basis of the bet on offer at the time.
You could well have been 50p richer at some point in the distant future ..... I'm sure we'll both survive without it, albeit only just in my case.

I'm sure the bet I offered was equally as fair.
PS, is it OK to be dismissive of Huddersfield today?

| Wouldn't it be nice if every SL club were formed in big a city with a population of around 5 million? Back in the real world......
Leeds is a massive city club with huge income streams that most clubs could only dream of.
In all fairness the Rhinos away support is pretty poor these days considering the size of our fanbase. 'Smaller' clubs should be applauded for trying to build their support as it isn't as easy for most in comparison to Leeds'.
Some of you guys have lost track of the reality of the situation.

Agreed. If the average home attendances this season are replicated at Hull, Warrington, Quins, Salford and Hudds in the remaining fixtures, then Leeds will average 9,557 away from home and Wigan will average 9,517 away from home.

Leeds fans attendance at the Piedome the other week was pitiful, so they can be forgiven for assuming all Leeds fans travel in the back of a Vauxhall Cavalier, even on the basis of just one game. If that kind of logical reasoning is good enough for Ryan Hall over Tom Briscoe.....
