Ah interesting on Clues.. you could be right re Prop. I’m wondering if my memory failing me a bit and he said he was best forward he’d seen but I could have sworn he said prop. |

Its always easier to look at more recent players, but JP Barrie and Kyle all take some beating.
Roy Powell prop or second row but played more second row. Roy dickenson, Steve pitchford all good from the past, before my time but Tony Fisher was ment to be pretty good world cup winning prop i think.
Darren Fleary for a no name ended up a real find for us under Murray.

Barrie was good you do not get to play for Wigan , Leeds and G.B if you are not . Agreed he was no J.P but how many are ? |

Agreed, 15 Great Britain appearances, 1 for England and 15 for Ireland he was one of the best props around in his day. |
