Ive always enjoyed listening to Tony Smith. Attended many coaching clinics over the years including a residential with TS and he is the most insightful of all to listen to. Not just from a coaching persepective but his world view.

| Some good things on there. Tony Smith is fascinating- a few times people have mentioned him wanting eye contact with players yet when he's interviewed on Sky etc he can look very uneasy and looks anywhere but at the interviewer!
Dwyer comes across very well- interesting to hear the stuff around the conversations that he had with Agar and Sinfield at the end of last year and how he is working on certain parts of his personality as well as on his game. Much closer insight than we are used to with generic lines in the more structured interviews put out by the club.
The stuff in the TS one about Leeds creating an environment where everyone looks after each other and have each other's back was interesting as well I thought and probably chimes in with what Agar has been saying about creating a team environment- something KS clearly thought was missing when he came back to the club.

I've enjoyed them all apart from parts of the Lineham one. Some of the stuff in that one made me cringe like weeing on a mates bag. Sure it goes on but a bit of an old rugby player stereotype. Polar opposite to some of the insights from Ryan. Chev, Agar and Smith

Just watched this one and it was fantastic and I would strongly recommend watching it
Sir Kev is a bit of a mysterious and unknown character to all of us
But he certainly knew his role at the club and he knew that by delivering his part of the bargain would enable the other talented players to put their finishing touches to the side to make us so successful over the years.
Sinny was never a Sculthorpe talent wise (But still very, very good) but the sum of his parts to the side was still bigger than any other player that I have ever seen play the game in my lifetime.
I am privileged that I have seen him progress from watching his first ever game in our academy, to seeing him lead our club to so much success over the years
Players of this ilk don't come around very often but we certainly had the best in Sir Kev

| To be honest, I've always thought the notion that Sinfield wasn't that skillful to be wide of the mark.
His kicking, passing and offloading games were all first class. Sure, he didn't have the physicality of Scully P or Farrell, but skill wise he has the edge IMO.

I couldn't agree more Charlie and perhaps I could have worded my post a bit better or differently as I wasn't wishing to play Sir Kev's undoubted talent and skill down in any way
IMO all of Sinny's core skills and also his leadership qualities were probably at the top of the tree and better than Paul Sculthorpe's but that he only lacked the physicality part to dominate games
My comment about Paul Sculthorpe being better skill wise was down to his ability both physicality wise and also to being more suited to have actually have made the grade in the NRL if he had gone over
Sculthorpe would be the first player that I would choose if you could have had any other UK player (That didn't go to the NRL) in your side and that is how highly I regard his talents
