Cats are poor but have enough class to give them their first win against that 17.'"
Just seen the weather forecast again for the week up to friday and as others have said looks like a blanket of snow over west yorkshire all friday, it's highly doubtful the game will be played which looking at the team will work in our favour.

| Quote: Frosties. "McDermott confirms he’s not expecting anyone back for the game v Catalan Dragons including Hall, Briscoe, Ablett and Moon. Hopefully on that performance from Sutcliffe, Lilley gets a shot in the halves.
Golding
Newman Watkins Sutcliffe Handley
Lilley Myler
Garbutt Parcell Singleton
JJB Keinhorst
Delaney
Dwyer Oledzki Ormondroyd JJR/Walters/Smith'"
YEP has a report from mullally and he hopes to be back this week , also Ablett and Briscoe are in contention.

| From the 19 That's been named and if all are fit and can play I'd go with
Golding
Briscoe
Watkins
Moon
Hall
Lilley
Myler
Garbutt
Parcell
Singleton
Ablett
JJB
Delaney
Subs
Dwyer
Mullally
Ormandroyd
Oldezki
I think lilley deserves a game and See if he can become the half that he could be plus moon looks far better in centres, is Sutcliffe dropped or injured ?

| I'll wait for the team to be announced. McDermott's 19 man squads have become pointless.

| With Temperatures down to -5C tonight and staying below zero until Friday Morning, I can see this fixture being postponed.

I live quite near the ground, and the it's already snowing now. The stuff that's laid is deep and crisp and even. I can't see anything other than a cancellation.

| I can't see the point of holding the game - this is entertainment nothing more - so how is a game played in sub zero temperatures with the risk of injury to spectators entertainment. Its a game of rugby that's all. Postpone to a date when the paying public might actually enjoy the entertainment on offer

100% agree. Some of us diehards would enjoy it - bit of a throwback to some great pre-superleague snow games. I remember a snowball being thrown from the crowd and hitting an opposition player on the bonce (think it was a Halifax player in around 1990). That being said, this is no weather to be taking the wife and kids to a game - there's no way they'd enjoy it. Widnes in the freezing was enough of an ordeal and that was without the snow hazard.
