This week: Four keys to a Rhinos win in the WCC:Transparent Backgrounds/Waldorf.gif |

| I'd like to see something done before the NZ game, assuming none of the departing players are playing in it. Maybe start it an hour before kick-off, encourage people to get to the ground early. Help build up a bit of atmosphere.

Wow, I emailed info@leedsrugby.com earlier on about this and didn't expect a reply. Just had an email from Phil Daly saying presentations are likely to take place at the NZ game as mentioned by craigizzard earlier.
Thanks all for the replies!

I still think the fans should club together for a massive flag for the South Stand to display at the GF semi
www.footballflags.co.uk/24x12-1.html
Under £500 for 24ft by 12ft. Can be custom designed with KS, JP and KL images
If 300 people chipped in a fiver we could make 3 massive flags!

| If there is a proper donation site set up I'm up for putting £5 in the pot. 24x12 sounds a bit small?

| Might be there are options for larger flags with other suppliers. That was just the first google result!
I'd also chip in and I'd be happy to do some of the legwork like setting up the crowdfunding, ordering the thing and clearing it with the club
But I don't have much social media presence. Nor should I be designing it. Plus I'd rather have someone on here who is known to the fans be a figurehead for the project because I'm not even a season ticket holder, I just go along to a few games a season and thought this might be a good idea. The flag(s) would be given over to a supporter's group for future use, so I don't think it should be too specific. You could re-use a "Sir Kev Legend" type flag for the rest of time, but a "Goodbye Sir Kev" might not have any longevity
It's gonna be a highly charged, emotional game and occasion anyway, so I think the SF is the game to do it. Might even give the lads a lift

| Who keeps the banners after if 300 of us are all equal partners..?
Sounds a good idea anyway. I am reluctantly and unhappily moving to Scotland in a few weeks too so will be my last game / season for a while at least

Quite happy with this. They'll be many, many years to celebrate these fine individuals......that we leave it until AFTER the GF suggests the club is focused on winning silverware rather than individuals, as great as Sinfield and Peacock have been this is the approach that should be taken if we are to achieve GF success, rather than be distracted with their farewell party.
Focus on business not sentiment. Do that and sentiment will have a happy ending.

Lay the banner up with the club afterwards and it can be an exhibit if a museum ever gets off the ground

I get my Flags from Barmy Flags.
Based out of Oldham, 99.9% of Football & Rugby Fans get there Flags from this place.
Yes, they are a bit more expensive but the quality is second to none.
Have a look at some of the Flags below.

That would be lovely but not being a Leeds native, having only had a season ticket 3 years and having only posted on here 500-odd times I understand there won't be a clamour amongst you all for donations!
I could take one of the flags with me though to try and help my battle to get people up in Glasgow in to rugby league and / or the Rhinos!
