Tompkins has the odd great performance that catches the eye, but still has the odd nightmare! Sinfield will go down in history, Tompkins may end up being a flash in the pan!

I suspect it's time Superleague players understood this. It seems that they struggle to do so at the moment. Perhaps they are not very bright?

Sinfield was certainly made out of steel tonight. From where we sat he looked to be out cold! And just carried on

If it were a boxing comp. Tomkins would be leading on points for 9 rounds then Sinfield would say thats enough and knock him out in the 10th.

I watched in the pub and really fancied Wire to win it, not by a lot but still to win. However, Leeds continued to earn the trophy with a massive effort and they were led by the immense Sinfield!

I think the M.O.S. should be awarded after the Grand Final as the main prize is now that and I think KS would have won by a mile. That chin shot would have rendered mose hard men out for the count, Sinfield just took a coule of minutes to get his senses back and then carried on.

It was a great game which really entertained everyone in the pub and everyone agreed that Leeds deserved it!!!

Im pretty sure Kev wouldnt want to swap achievments with ST. The MOS is a pointless popularity contest. Sir Kev wins his plaudits on the biggest stage in the heat of battle

As a Salford fan I don't think there is another player in the league who demands my respect as much as Kevin Sinfield. Another fantastic performance tonight despite being knocked cold at one point. He is a brilliant captain, still driving the team in the final minutes yet the first to acknowledge the team in interviews. Leadership at its best.

Congratulations Leeds and thanks for entertaining those of us who once again have to watch the play-offs rather than take part!
