If it was me, I would flatten West Park Bramhope and build it there... After building a 10k stadium for York on land by the A64 earmarked for the University that is.

I would also build a 50k all-seater Rugby League National stadium somewhere near the M1/M62 junction, and rent it to Leeds Utd...

This is crazy talk anyway because even a new investor would be brave to write off the millions already ploughed into the site and its emotional connection as pretty much the de facto home of Rugby League. But regardless, if we were to move, one thing has to be clear: the club is not a city centre or south of the river club - it is of and belongs in north Leeds.

Any where away from Headingley , in a purpose built stadium with great facilities for supporters with good direct transport links , train and cars , and car parking all round the stadium , like some stadia in USA , in a area that on match days would not effect the surrounding residential area ,

Just starting to wish we had moved away from headingley , and when visiting other clubs like Wigan JJB , Hull and now saints and cas when there is bulit that leeds should have gone the same way not impressed with the new rugby or cricket stands down there at all

makes you wonder hough if something is not in the wind .the club were disappointed that they had to scale down the southstand plans,then all of a suuden its put on hold

kirkstall Forge site anybody?. Could open a rail station there too, and still in North Leeds. The whole saga with the local residents and the Southstand, and the huge cost of replacing the North stand means it maybe cheaper to up sticks and move.

Have they shelved the plans to build the urban village at the forge. Also further up on the right side of the river between Rodley and horsforth the massive old mill

A site in Bramhope would suite me just fine, in fact anywhere in the LS16 postal district - I'm not that fussy.

I was going to say Headingley is very handy,but I dont live just off Broad lane any more,but it does look like we are being left behind

if i were a multi billionaire and money was no object at all, id build 100,000 seater mega stadium for the city (for Leeds utd and internationals, finals etc...) and a 50,000 seater stadium for the Rhinos. All part of the same complex, it would have to be somewhere that's big enough.

But id slash the ticket prices to a fiver to get the numbers in and provide free regular buses from various locations throughout Leeds

my aim would be to get the stadium full every time. giving away seats for £1 if need be

I was talking to someone form Caddick last week who said they are definitely doing the South Stand next year.

If we are day dreaming, then may i suggest Otley...it's lovely in Summer and we have lots of fields too!

If money was no option, I certainly wouldn't limit it to 25k seats.

I don;t see why we think a new stadium is needed or even feasible. We have a good stadium in a good location. We can upgrade it as necessary. We are hardly likely to walk away from headingley afetr investing a large wedge into the Carnegie stand in the last 5 years.

People may like these shiny new stadia, but personally I think most new grounds are souless, and have a limited atmosphere.
