I hear a number of posters have been very generous in their support but that many posters still haven't donated.

I guess they feel very guilty about this.

Severe weather warnings for today & tomorrow. Strong winds (gale force on the east coast), heavy rain.

May I take the opportunity to thank all of those who donated very generously to the JustGiving web page, when all the rest of the donations are collected in our final total should be in excess of £3000 which is going or has already gone to Sue Ryder Care.

The ride was completed as planned and we finished in Sunderland at 6pm yesterday evening after two and half days of riding, falling off, breaking bikes and throwing away my Blackberry which I found in a field later on that night.

Only one puncture (more of a tyre explosion) and the doctor bounced his head off a guard rail once but fortunately the guard rail was made of quite thick steel so it was ok.
