Heard two things this morning, from my reliable source and so far he says they are just talks. That is Russell Packer and Tony Gigot! I like both these players but I can only see one coming. Also does Gigot count as quota as he’s French, I’m not sure on that one.

As good a player as hes capable of being leeds have no need for Gigot.

I agree, what is his actual position though? All I can see is he would be good for covering a few positions in case of injuries, we don’t really have a back up full back and are light in the outside backs.

Gigot would be a good addition imo. Give some much needed competition out wide. Dont know much about Packer but he looks a big unit. I see hes a kiwi which hopefully will make him settle better over here as most kiwis do

He did go to prison but appears it wasn't manslaughter. Would imagine that we would have considered this if we are looking at him.

Looks similar to what happened with Chev and Bails. I’d be surprised if he got in.

He’s also 30 and I’d say we ought to be looking at someone a bit younger given then age of our other props and how long we would like someone to stay to bring the kids through.

Ideally we want another Ava - a good prop who's gone under the radar a bit in the NRL. If we had good contacts here who watch a lot of reswrve grade as well as NRL it really shouldn't be that hard to tell the difference between an Ava and a Peteru.
