Ofcourse we spent big on them 3, they were world renowned players when we signed them, just because 'marquee' players wernt a thing back then, dosnt mean the top players wernt very well payed.

We certainly have a smaller squad than in the last few years. Still a bit imbalanced though with a lot of backrowers and bare bones for outside backs.

Yep I agree with that. Definitely have a smaller squad. We have room for a marquee player and at least one other imo. Ideally could have done with Myler going also. Be interesting to see how Myler reacts when he realises hes on the bench or in the reserves most weeks.

I cant see how he'll make the bench unless Lui moves to 13.

Myler isn’t ever on the bench, he either starts or doesn’t play at all.

I think he'll move mid season unless we get an injury to Lui or Gale

He's obviously on a decent wedge and probably not prepared to take a wage cut somewhere else that's if he was targeted by another club.Cant say ive even seen his name linked with anybody.

Bits of paper chatter linking him to KR and union but nothing substantial.

Myler isn't a bad player it just depends what you want. He is a support player so you need a good organiser with him. Hastings type player next to him and he would look ok and get you some tries. Those type of players are being phased out though.

Suspect as was said he will leave mid season, maybe on loan.

He was interviewed the other week and said something about fighting for his place. Implies a lack of decent offers perhaps.

Feel bit sorry for Myler here. Not good enough really but never given less than 100%. Very rarely injured and steady away. Wish he could find a Hull KR or a Wakey and b a regular 7 somewhere in SL

Don't think it will be KR IIRC Smith isn't a fan of Myler.

Myler will sit it out but we can release him next year unless another club gets a major injury to a half. Cuthbo will be released too giving us a massive boost in the transfer market.....
