| Quote: rhinoms "That's the KEY imo at leeds he does a lot of the organising and runs the gameplan with Mcguire and Burrow in supporting roles.
When he's selected for england that doesn't seem to be the case and he never has been a big running 13.'"
I think England would get more out of sinfield by playing him hooker as he would control the ruck and he likes being involved which he isn't at loose playing for England.

He was poor today as were others but the last part of your statement is innacurate and mis-informed.

It certainly looked that way in the 2nd half, whatever the outcome if he's selected he needs decent ball and options and we as a team had neither during that 1st half.

I've been watching him, same as everyone else, and he hasn't shown up. He is your Pryce. Whether you like or admit to that is irrelevant. That's how it is.

WTF????????
Last year he was one of the few who actually had any impact during the WC.
He played well in a series win v the Kiwis and has never been as anonymous as pryce!!
Today he was poor and deserves to be benched or even dropped but he's still worth a place in the squad and has EARNED IT.

| Quote: DHM "Peacock had a poor game, would you drop him?'" Not on this game, he was poor (and i do think after the 4 nations, he should retire from international,) but he is usually mr reliable, and after the performances of most of the 17, if we had to drop all whom had a poor game, who would we be left with??
I would defo drop Mcguire and Smith, apart from them 2, whos better out there than what we have got???

Maybe to the bench, might fire him up a bit, and imagine the impact with JP & Crabtree coming on at the same time

| as a diehard leeds fan i may find it hard but can still accept that mc guire had a bad game 1st half but so did many others, he improved massively 2nd half imo the legend that is tony smith should have altered the defensive setup after 20 minutes as it was blatantly not working[defended far too narrow ala huddersfield therefore leaving gaping holes out wide] . Once the setup was altered 2nd half we were far more compact defensively. The 2nd half was a major improvement sinfield orchesrated play well burgess added the biff and gareth ellis showed his all round class in both halves. If we had applied that much effort in both halfs who knows what would have happened. at the end of the day positives have to be taken. If we can play a full 8o mins in he same vein as this weekends 2nd half the final beckons.I personally have faith in he England boys to finally stand up to the overhyped southern hemisphere and shock a few non believers! come on ENGLAND dont let me down.

| People who are bagging McGuire and Smith for the Aussie tries, look who there up against, Inglis, he does the same thing against NSW in Origin every year and in the NRL week in week out and against better defenders aswell. How do you stop him when nobody can, it's just this week it was McGuire and Smith who copped it, there not the first and sure wont be the last.
McGuire had a poor game but he also has a new half back every game next to him and the team is never the same. Put Eastmond and Tomkins in the halfs next week and see how they get on but i bet there's no organisation, when the going gets tough they wont be knowhere to be seen. Look at the Aussies in key postions, Slater, Lockyer, Thurston and Smith play every game for them and for Queensland aswell so they no each others game. Start throwing different players together everygame and there not gonna play well especially when your playing the best team.
TS needs to pick his best team and stick with it.

I have no idea what any of that means.

| How does it go?
When the coach starts listening to the fans he might as well sit with them!
I've read lots of comments on a few forums re yesterdays game, and all I can say is the majority of posters on all forums are clueless s.
