The only logic I can see behind the signing of a lump of lard like Brett Delaney is that Leeds genuinely want/expect Watkins/Ratu whoever to become first choice centres and want someone who can slot in as required due to injuries.. Delaney is solid but that really is about it, and TBH the sort of signing that NO SL side should be making. I really can't understand it if its not something to do with being able to gradually bring say Ratu and Watkins on as first choice centres.
And yes, I've seen him play several times live, and have absolutely nothing positive to say about him otherwise - he's the sort of player you just don't notice.

Well down on form this year but could be a very good player if he gets his mojo back.
FWIW I just wish all SL sides were out more for quality than quantity. Yet another 'solid' pro from the NRL is not what any side should be looking for IMO.

He is bloody garbage but lets face it, Leeds supporters will cream themselves, after all when he pulls on the Blue and Amber his will be better than anything ever to walk onto a RL playing field.
Anyway as long as they put prices up at the dump that is Headingley I will be happy, maybe one day the chavs and scumbags will be priced out of the game.
