| The club were actively looking to offload Myler in the close season due to options available. He’s had a couple of good games, with one down to the first choice out. I can’t see a new contract there unless it is massively reduced terms, and that the corona virus has hit all plans for squad changes across the sport.
Dwyer was offered a one year because they clearly planned for different next year. Again will depend on whether the virus has hit player movement. Either way though Dwyer has actually made changes to improve his game and self. Would think that might go down well. Can see a change here with another two years.
Cuthbertson, I just can’t see the club going again here.

| Quote Jrrhino="Jrrhino" Myler is a tricky one i feel over the 2018 and 2019 seasons he hasn't really warranted a new deal'"
He was player of the year in his first year and has been excellent this one. Now we have a coach who knows how to use him - he's not a playmaking half - he's proven to be a big part of how we've gone this year. I'd be keen to see how him and Gale operated together as they've looked potentially better than Gale and Lui.

| Dwyer is a yes based on his form for the part of the season we played, Johnson leaving and leeming being injured so we don't know how he will settle in.
Myler is a maybe. Has done well at FB but covid will allow jack's injuries to heal so don't know where Myler plays when most of the squad are fit. Worth keeping if the terms are right.
Cuthbo will depend on what our options are. Doesn't he still take up an overseas place? In which case it be time to let him go, great servant he has been.
A lot though will depend on where clubs and the sport as a whole is at financially. It is more of a guessing game than ever right now.

| I think this could be T.Briscoe last season with us his has had a mixed career with us he has had his fair share of bad games and costly errors such as the 2014 knock on in last minute on his own try line, but on the flip side he has come up with some important contribution and tries such as 5 tries in challenge cup final and 2 in 2017 grand final, maybe it could be time for change and maybe let T.Briscoe go maybe give L.Briscoe a season as our first choice winger and see if he can play super league consistently or we could go into the market for a new winger someone with genuine pace, strength and eye for try line someone like Tom Johnstone Wakey or Dom Manrfedi from Wigan ? I think Stevie Ward will get a contract from just with position and relationship with club but maybe the club might give him a rolling contract to see how his body copes because if he stays with us he really needs an injury free season it's a shame but so fare in his career he probably doesn't warrant another big contract on big money due to his injury record that's not his fault though really it's just one of those things. Surely the club will be handing Holroyd and Mustpha new deals possibly long term ones because if these two continue their development they will be the future of our pack for many years to come. Can't see us keeping Evans on and Albert, wonder if we will go in for Greenwood permanently at end of this season as well. The big question is though with this Pandemic how will the club be left financially and how will they go about recruiting new players and retaining others, the Rhinos are probably the healthiest club in super when it comes to wealth and might be able to survive better than most over teams in super league who are seen as smaller clubs but every team will have to reevaluate their financial situation when life eventually gets back to some normality.

Not disputing that he won player of year in 2018 but I think a 3 legged donkey could have won our player for year in 2018 with some of our performances, if we kept Myler on that leaves us with 4 half back options with Gale, Lui, Myler and Mclelland, like I said in my previous post I wouldn't mind if we try to release Rob Lui after this season to free up an overseas quote spot for ourselves but if Lui remains and we resign Myler i think we have too many half backs in squad, obviously it's good to have strength in numbers due to injuries and competition for places but if Myler was getting picked ahead of Mclelland if we had injuries in halves then it'd be a bit of a shame as I don't think many can say Richie Myler has been a top class player for us when we signed him and then picking him would stop the development of young players like Mclelland.

| I think personally the only one that will leave from that list is Albert. I can’t see how the club would sign Evans permanently and then let him go back to Bulls on loan for the season to not bring him back for 2021, not that I agree with it mind.
I wouldn’t mind if Cuthbertson retired on the basis it opens up a overseas quota spot which would give us two to fill for 2021 with Martin being classed as half (haven’t heard anything about his passport recently?) when it comes.

| There's certainly some big decisions to be made and I doubt any club is going to have much cash to throw around. It's too early to say, as we may well see a reduction in players available from the NRL
I'd personally keep all the OOC players except Evans and Albert at this point in time, but I'd look at letting Myler, Briscoe and Cuthbertson go if we can replace them with better players.

| The Ward situation is very interesting. He may be forced to retire yet... I hope to god not and wish him a full recovery as he's a great player and a leader but I'm watching with interest as this deal should have been a big one for him but can we afford to give him a strong contract with his injury record.. it's a very hard one to call.

| Wouldn't be surprised to see pretty much everyone get another year providing they sign up for less wages for the remainder of this season continuing into next.
