| Quote: Man of steel 07 "Danny McGuire also played a international match for the northern union in which he scored 2 tries.
Quote: Man of steel 07 " Thanks for that. I'll pass the information back up the chain for clarification.
(Tricky things official statistics, knowing what counts and what doesn't and not something I would know enough about to comment on. Possibly explains why I concentrate on Leeds 1st grade)'"
With many thanks again to A-Fire-Inside clarification has now been provided:
The RFL stance on the Northern Union V All Golds fixture was that it doesn't count towards players' totals. The main reason being that tries were only awarded 3 points so it isn't regarded as a 'full' international.
__________
I said I'd provide a Kevin Sinfield Leeds All-Time record points chase update after each game so I guess here it is:
After Round 2's conversion Sinfield is now on 2,865 (55 to tie 2,920 - 56 to claim the record outright)

What was Sinfield's conversion per game average for last year so we can best guess when he'll reach this target?
TIA

I had a look at that on page 66: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=341569&start=657
We were potentially looking at his 8th appearance of this season on the basis of last season's averages. After Saturday's comparative anomoly it could now be looking tight for the 8th and may extend into a 9th appearance.
Only time will tell.

Has any other Club Captain done so well?

After the WCC game V Manly - Sinfield is now on 2,871 (49 to tie 2,920 - 50 to claim the record outright)
It's been a fairly quiet start on the points accumulation front so far in 2012 only averaging 6 against an overall average in 2011 of just over 9. Hopefully Sunday will be an opportunity to up the ratio a bit.
__________
Kevin Sinfield's next SL Regular Round Start will be his 300th for the club becoming the first Leeds player to do so in the process. Only one other Leeds player has passed 200 in their Headingley career and that was Keith Senior who finished on 295.
__________
Danny McGuire now has the opportunity to claim 5th spot on the Leeds SL Reg Rd Appearance ladder all for himself. He currently stands tied with Francis Cummins and Jamie Jones-Buchanan on 217.
1 - Kevin Sinfield 323
2 - Keith Senior 297
3 - Rob Burrow 266
4 - Barrie McDermott 219
=5 - Francis Cummins 217
=5 - Jamie Jones-Buchanan 217
=5 - Danny McGuire 217
__________
Kevin Sinfield's final conversion against Manly brought up Leeds' 3,000 point scored in all cup encounters of the SL Era coming from 105 games in total.
Challenge Cup - 2,022
SL Play Offs - 744
World Club - 170
Premiership - 64
___________
Rob Burrow made his Leeds Cup starting forward debut V Manly in his 65th cup outing.

| 38 points for Sinfield then 5 games may do it,either way it should be achieved before Easter so I will miss it .If its at HQ it will be a traditional Headingley standing ovation.
