I`m sure it was a fair hearing but coincidently the panel of 3 had 2 ex Leigh players on it.

I actually quite liked this little tidbit from Agar

""Luke threw some punches, but he had a knee placed on his neck which is very dangerous and the cameras didn't pick it up. Bodene threw a punch too, but last year we played Catalans and Brad Dwyer got smacked in the mouth we had a poor reaction from our players."

""Our payers made a pact that they wouldn't allow that again. When one of your players gets knocked out, there's no side in the competition you wouldn't see a reaction from like that"

Mind you our players sticking up for Hurrell doesn't help us on the field if they are banned, but I remember when Dwyer got smacked and I was pretty shocked none of our players piled in

I have now seen the Mellor incident and agree that a one match ban was correct. Tom Briscoe lucky not to be banned too for a similar incident.

It's a shame with Gale as he was tackled late which Hicks was keen to ping us for. It then sounds like Lannon placed his knee on Gale's neck resulting in the punches. I can understand why Gale reacted but not helpful for us.

I still do not believe Thompson should have seen red but at worst it should have been red card sufficient.

Sounded slightly concerning with Handley and I get the impression the starting half backs tomorrow will not be Lui and McLelland.

I have no issue with the Leeds players response, or the bans they’ve got. For me Mossop should’ve got more than 2 games though.

I’m not sure what our sides going to look like but we should out muscle Leigh and win fairly comfortably, even more so if Lui and McCelland are fit and able to play, having half backs always helps.

Agar saying it’s down to 18 now which is interesting, he hopes both mclelland and Lui available but one definitely is, which I would guess it’s mclelland since he’s been training longer.

I agree very nicely put without getting a fine for bringing the game into disrepute.

This is going to be anything but easy if that's the half back partnership. Also I cringed when I heard about positive covid tests at Salford. Is anyone ruled out as a close contact yet?

Journalists have said that there isn’t any issues for Leeds with this.

Quote: Sir Kevin Sinfield "That side should rip Leigh to shreds'"

If our middle men aren't too fatigued that side is still pretty strong on paper. Holroyd coming back could be a huge boost if he can stay fit; I'll say it again but he has the potential to be even better than Mik IMO. First game back after a long lay-off from a fracture and he averaged 12m per carry against Salford?

Those two boys should be our book ends for a long time to come.

It'll be one of those where we'll need to dig deep and be professional in the first 20-30 mins to establish some control so that the rest of the game will become easier. We'll need good performances from the young lads like Agar said.

The two concerns are what half backs we go with and that Myler links in really well in our attack line and is a good support player for any breaks or half breaks, without him our backs have looked far less effective. Hopefully, his absence doesn't stifle our attack.
