From the sounds of it on radio Leeds you'd have to say it's probable.

At this rate Wigan will beat any records Leeds set in the 1999 challenge cup final. We seem that bad at the moment!

Hardly the first team to get Wembley-itus are we?
Today's result will have zero relevance on next week - we'll still be underdogs and it'll still be down to if we can raise our game enough on the day.

As bad as Leeds are at the moment, you can guarantee they will raise their game for the match next week. Any side in Super League would, it is after all a huge occasion. Leeds have played Wigan twice and both times have troubled us, but for me this Leeds side lacks mental toughness. At Headingly (against Wigan) you should have won that game. Perhaps with more composure (and admittedly a bit more luck) you could have won the game at the DW. Look at your performance this week in comparison to Wigan's. Your team is not a bad side, but are obviously distracted by Wembley and Harlequins want it more. On the other hand Wigan have the mental resiliency to stay focused and get the job done against the Bulls (in some style too). Both teams have some fantastic players and on paper it should be a close match. However the two big differences for me are the way the two sides are coached and the mental resiliency of Wigan in comparison to that of Leeds.

Indeed, I'd love Leeds to play like this again next week but I'm 99% sure they won't.

The one player I feel Leeds have missed this week is Jamie Jones-Buchanan who has come into a bit of form this season. His efforts to kick start the Leeds rampage last week were awesome. Other than that I pretty much agree with you that Leeds have a chance next week and my comment was heat of the moment. It’s going to be a dilemma for many Rhinos fans this week who won’t know whenever to be depressed over what happened today or draw some optimism out of bright points this season.

| How embarassing. Hetherington wants to start looking a bit closer to home for his reasons why people aren't buying Wembley tickets. Marketing people are going to have to do one hell of a job if they want to retain the season ticket holders they have as well.

A real shame because that lad is a real talent IMO.
Who are your other options at centre?
