Griffin will be a solid signing, but as I've said before, will come at a premium in salary terms due to his England selection last year which wasn't entirely justified IMO based on his performances in Australia. He will be better than most of our props on current form I suspect, but I'm not sure if he's exactly what Leeds need MOST in the forwards right now. I'd like us to sign a player in the mould of Eastwood who is able to change a game through a barnstorming run & off-load or a big hit. Lauitiiti used to provide this but none of the current forwards seem capable of doing it on a consistent basis. An encouraging signing in some respects but hopefully this will not be the pinnacle of recruitment for next year...

I've been on a new diet and exercise regime for exactly 12 days. I'm only four days off looking exactly like a Spartan warrior.
I've even bought a pair of leather underpants to wear poolside on my holidays. |
