There is no doubt that crowds started to go up when LUFC started to be poop, but Rhinos also started to do well, so it could be total conincidence.

However, once LUFC were relegated from the premiership it could be that the chavs who liked to get drunk and abusive at a sporting event found that they could do it much cheaper at headingley, and so decided that it left more of their cash for white lightning.

In which case the second coming of LUFC may not have that big an impact. Who knows?

The chap who has the two seats next to me was a season ticket holder at Elland Road for 25+ years. He "switched" when George Graham was United Manager. He switched because of pricing, not the success or otherwise of either side.

I think the success of the Rhinos will have more bearing on our attendances that the success of United.

In fact you could argue that in 2006 our crowds dropped BECAUSE LUFC had been relegated, and again in 2008.

As long as the stand is clean, well maintained and access is improved i couldnt give a monkeys. I dont eat the tripe that passes for food in the ground (wilsons exempted

) for it is of a poor quality.

The main thing for me is the access, having a stand with people forced to stand in the yellow gangways blocking access into and out of the stand is not an ideal situation to be in, heaven forbid something serious ever happing at the back of the stand.
