| Well the really light rotation of props we have is already going to be tested then with Holroyd out for 3 months.

| Was afraid that injury might be a bad one he’s done ankles before I think and he’s a heavy thing.
Really not the start to the season we needed. We’re already down to the bones at prop. Also disappointed for Tom he’ll have been working hard over the winter I’m sure. Oh well.

Shish that is bad news and rightly predicted that we will suffer if we get an injury in the front row.
Step forward Muz and Thompson then for now.

That's a big blow. Tetevano definitely needs to be used as a rotating prop. Prior and Oledzki starting.Thompson will now be used as 4th prop which isn't ideal but hopefully will have a bit more fitness than he did last season. Muizz could be used there but for mine doesn't have the frame for it.

| It doesn't take a stretch of the imagination to see the possibility of one of the other 3 being out for a period at the same time too. We were desperately light in that area going into the year. Muizz cant be loaned out now.

That's the only real positive outcome, that it forces the hand of playing Smith at 13. Hope he grabs the opportunity as he's gone well so far in preseason.

| Losing Tommy is a masaive blow. If Cam Smith at 13 with Tet moving up to prop is the move then its a decent option.
Cam has all the ability in the world and needs to kick on now hes got enough experience. Big year for him.
We cant afford more injuries in the middle or halves thats for sure.

Agree, Cam can really put his marker down this year.
As others have said, salary cap sport and all that probably most sides are vulnerable to injuries in the hard-to-come-by positions. Been a big push in the stock of props in recent years.
I dunno, if we get some luck this year we could be right up there, if we don't at least it'll make it even more obvious where the gaps are and we should be in a position to recruit for 2023.

I'm quietly confident Cam will come into his own this year and be one of our best players. I think he's finally starting to master that link play, and get's his hands on the ball a lot. He also has a decent short kicking game. I'm putting in a bold prediction to say he'll be our starting 13 most of the year, and a top performer.
Looking at some of the training footage, Fuusitua is absolutely huge and looks like one of our biggest players. Hopefully his carries out of yardage will ease some load on the props.

| As a Fev fan I was quite impressed by Mackenzie Turner last week btw (if he was the player wearing the 1 jersey in the 2nd half?). He stopped Gareth Gale head on in full flow and on another occasion forced him into touch, and there were quite a few experienced and high-profile wings and full backs who failed to do that in the Championship last year.
