I bought biscuits in Aldi this morning, for solace.
Chocolate biscuits, I sat and ate them all at one go, I feel sick now and I'm still missing that cake.

The boss has been baking today, under my supervision obviously.
Nutty, chocolate & blueberry biscuits.
Plain & coffee shortbread.
Cupcakes of some description.
She's now on with stollen rolls, mince pies then sticky toffee puddings to finish with.
Then she wonders why I can't lose weight.
Savoury baking tomorrow plus panna cotta & chocolate mousses.
I hope my new shirt fits me on Boxing Day.

I've just nipped home to pick up my camera (niece's concert) and we're onto batch 9 of Cheesecake. This is the last one I'm allowed to eat before a decision needs to be made as to which one we're going for.
The current leader is White Chocolate & Baileys.
There's some mince pies in the oven too, and apparently she's made the mincemeat from scratch too! |

I bought a huge stollen cake at the German market last year, imagine my surprise when I got it home to find that none of the family like stollen cake, imagine how disappointed I was at their news and the fact that I had to eat all of it myself.
Then they reminded me that the same thing had happened the year before too, silly me, fancy forgetting that no-one else likes the stuff in our house, I mean, you'd only buy a small piece if you knew that wouldn't you ?
