Hi, as a Temple Moor mum (I was wearing a TShirt with just that on it because I was very proud of my son's achievement), I was appalled at the violence that occurred during the Final on 26th August. Can I just confirm that NONE of the Temple Moor parents were involved in the fighting and all evacuated the area as soon as it was possible, although my 7 year old daughter was distressed and does not want to attend another rugby match again, hopefully this fear will subside if I can get her near headingley again! Mindless drunken yobs were involved from both sides and in my 30 years of watching rugby league with my Pops and father I have NEVER experienced such fear at a match! I felt I needed to login and respond to the initial comment about whether we were involved. Thanks to all the fabulous fans of many colours who were great on the day and who helped us out of the block - thank you again! By the way - Temple Moor lost

I think one of the mods accidentally binned me . I have no idea why I got binned , it was never explained to me . Just before LS13 got binned I got a PM from somebody calling me a few choice names . I was really rather polite in my reply (no sweary words or insults) , but that was the last of LS13 .

BTW . If there are any mods who can tell me why LS13 was binned would they please PM me ?

The thread that you were banned for doesn't exist any more so can't tell you why and I'm not sure if I can tell you by whom - but here's a clue - have a look at which team we were playing on 4th June, I suspect that you might not have been very welcome on their forum

There were a few unsavoury jokes going on the sinbin jokes thread . They were about the shootings in Cumbria . I posted one , but it certainly wasn't any worse than any of the Raul Moat ones that have since gone on there . I thought at the time it might have been the reason .

I see that jokes thread has gone rather quiet since I stopped posting on it .

I remember it was because Coronation street was taken off air because of the Raoul Moat incident and you said that it shouldnt have been even though the storyline was about a kidnapper with a gun!!

Im sorry mate but saying that a programme involving an armed kidnapper should not be postponed the same day a bloke has just shot and killed a bunch of people is just wrong IMHO!

It wouldnt have bothered me in particular but I reckon there would be a hell of a lot more that it would!

Be honest though . Most people probably wouldn't have connected the two 'incidents' .
One was a fictional hostage situation in a knicker factory . The other was a real life madman driving around killing real people .
