I presume by the fact that the new website is www.therhinos.co.uk that somebody at Headingley never thought to purchase leedsrhinos.co.uk.
Unfortuately, it was registered in 2004 by a company in St Kitts and Nevis and I presume wanted too much money to sell it. |

I wouldn't buy a web site name for more than its domain registration costs anyway, I get spoof emails at least once a month telling me that someone is trying to register my company name as a domain and that if I only send them some money they can stop it happening - bollax.
If someone is sitting on Leedsrhinos.co.uk then let them sit on it and let them renew it every two years, its not like anyone else is going to use it is it ?
It all revolves around vanity - truth is that the name almost doesn't matter, you could call the web site cjbckvbfbvfb.com and as long as you optimise it and market it properly then people will still find it in web searches and it will be a lot higher up the rankings than a domain that is dead and sitting on a default hosting page. |

| Anybody heard any interesting news on when the new full website will be up and running (including the new online shop)? Those of us a little remote from the club and desperately seeking to spend cash received in lieu of birthday presents are a little disappointed that the March deadline has come and gone with no real sign of activity......
