| Tough win against Wigan! How long is it since we could say we ground out a tough win. There was 2 or 3 minutes where I worried we might fold but managed to get through it and accept that maybe we aren't going to get everything our own way. Connor and Miller definitely are a difference, I don't see how frawly gets back into the side unless as a substitute hooker. even if we didn't get those flashy tries and had to grind away to get scores. Tbh. Not really a surprise when facing wigan. Wigan's defense is solid, but their attack wasn't at its best. Anyone else think that ref was e for both sides? He missed loads of obstructions, offside and high tackles. On the other hand it did let the game flow. Bentley was a beast out there though, my man of the match. Not sure about Mcdonald again, and Newman improving week on week but to be fair he needed to. What's everyone else's MOM?

How many minutes did Lisone play ? I see O`Connor made 50 tackles. Does anyone know how many Bentley and McDonnell made?
33 and 35 respectively

| Lisone did 7 minutes in the first half and 11 in the second. Not that I was counting…

It'd have to be a forward. Mik. Or maybe Bentley? Both were good.

Looking at the stats our completion rate was only 66% and Wigan's 90%, despite that we still made 300m more. Half the ptb in the opposition 20 too.
Cut down the errors and the foundation is
I'm not sure those completion stats are right. Sky had our completion rate at 91% at HT. I know we made more errors in the 2nd half, but I don't think we completed below 65%.

For the first time in ages, it feels like there is a foundation to actually build on.
Yes, at long last there’s some evidence off major green shoots

| All change starts with attitude, and I like the attitude I see under BA. I’d be asking him what it takes for him to stay another couple of years? Do we need to bring his family over? Do we need to sign his kids? Whatever it is, I’d be open to it.
He’s got a bit of a revolution going on at the club now, we need him to stay long enough to move it to a stage where it can be handed over.

| Are players still getting banned for touching the ref? If so Lisone will cop a few for hugging the ref after the handbags with Newman at the end of the game. Or if the whistle has blown is that not counted?

Do players get banned for shaking the hand of the ref after the game too

| Great performance, our pack more than stood up to the challenge, Oledski a different player with quality props up there with him. Let's hope we can build on these last two performances, the signs are definitely there.
Attack still needs to click but with O'Connor, Croft, Connor and Miller now first choice and injury free, you'd expect the attack get sharper each game.
Lots of talk about Leeming before the game, think he showed last night why O'Connor was preferred to him, he was very soft in defence, our pack knocked him back all night, also don't think Walters offered much off the bench.
