| Quote Jamie101="Jamie101"Sorry to be boring and ask about practical stuff but what are the parking options in and around Cas? Possibly getting some mates to go so need to need a plan as I will likely be responsible for getting us to the vicinity of the ground.
Second, where do home and away fans go in the stadium or is it just a mish mash throughout? Living in Ponte it will be easier for me to get tickets from the Cas shop (don't have a printer) though if different stands are for different sides it will mean being in with all the Cas fans...
Thanks for any help you can give
'"
There’s a big public car park near the ground, I’m not sure if its free on Friday evening as it was a Sunday when I used it last time its about a 10minute walk from the stadium.
Away fans stand in the uncovered section if the ground but as dar as Im aware you can get to it from any standing area?

| I think, the only part of the ground you can’t get in is the Weldon Road end as that’s “members only” IIRC.
I’ve always stood in the railway end opposite the Weldon road end, you’ll have to walk behind the club shop and round the training paddock and you’ll see the turnstiles easy enough. If your students cash in on the reduced prices as it’s one of a handful that do student deals.
Other than that, if you’ve not been before enjoy it, it’s a very unique throwback stadium, with fans right on top of you and a great atmosphere if it’s a good game. Beware of the “Cas Lasses” when you leave, they “absolutely hate Leeds” and they’ve very sharp tongues!

What is the difference between a Cas Lass and a Walrus?
One has whiskers and smells of fish.
The other is a Walrus.

| ‘Back in the day’ Leeds fans would make themselves at home in the side stand too, filling at least half of it. All the singing came from there, specifically the centre. It was like the South Stand but smaller and with no spiral staircase.

| Sounds relatively ok then. Will I get away with wearing my leeds too or will I just be inviting the danger of hassle? I can handle verbal joshing and rudeness - I am a Newcastle fan in football so used to that wherever I go for away games!

You'll be fine bud. Most cas supporters are sound. Watch out for the women though they're the worst;)

| The majority of Cas fans are knowledgeable and appreciate the game as it should be - probably like most clubs to be fair.
Every club has a minority of idiots.
Quite fancy us for this one to be honest. Signs of life the last few weeks. Injuries will probably dictate the result here, both missing key players.

| Always found Car fans to be fine, yes they like bait of banter but that's art of the fun. The only trouble I've ever had with other clubs fans is Hull FC and that was when we were at home, was quite a while ago now though and never had any issues since, although I've seen our own fans act like nob heads quite a few times.

| One of the many good things about RL is the way fans can interact without aggro (on the whole).
Unfortunately some of my extended family are Cas fans so I could do with us bringing home the bacon this week.

Its never even entered my mind about not wearing a Leeds shirt to an away game. Not a problem. Get it on. Paint ya face, take a flag, haha.

| Ah I know generally it is fine. The only hassle I have ever had is at MW and the GF and that was random drunk fans of other teams (often Hull) swinging at people.
I just wanted to check - I live in the area too so didn't want to antagonise anyone who might know where I live. 'S*itting on your own doorstep' and that!
I have a mate who is a Cas fan so if I see him there he talks the local language
Cheers all!
