| Quote: craigizzard "As it turned out, it was near enough Clarkson at hooker, Sinfield at 6, Ablett still 2nd row. Then Sutcliffe to 6 and Sinfield to 9 when Sutcliffe came on.
Having played hookerless on defence, it now looks like we're working out how to do it in attack. Worked though.'"
It wasn't near enough. It was exactly that.

| great performance.enjoyed the game.wigan were decent too but we always looked a step ahead on attack and the more likely to break through,I think we could have scored more if it was required but its nice to see us have pride in our defence again.hardaker was awesome.

| I will also add before double a hole starts scrapping his barrel at the bottom, the only negative, the bloody awful kicking game.
Yes it worked with the Hall try from Watkins chasing his pressured own kick, but most of the night straight down Bowens throat.

alot of that is credit to wigans excellent defence and line speed.I reckon most if not all other SL sides would have been beaten or taken to the brink by that wigan effort tonight.that we won by 16 points speaks volumes.

Thought Wigan were quite poor to be honest, tough but poor. We should have won that game by 30 points comfortably. We were better in every area but the kicking game. That was where Wigan gained easy yardage to start from an advanced position for their sets. That's also why we took the power play option numerous times.
Another 3 or 4 tries comfortably should have being scored in that second period. Don't think the scoreline showed how much better we were. We are quite a class act at the moment.

| Just watching the game over. The first 'try' from the p*es was a touch dubious. Mcallorum didn't even play the ball correctly.

Agreed, we were pretty bad tonight. I think it's a sad state of affairs when Gelling is one of our best performers tonight (kidding), but just came on to say you guys are looking great at the moment. Easily the form team in the comp. And for the first time in a while I can say honestly without a second thought that each of your 1-5 is better than our current 1-5, and I would never have said that in previous years.
The only excuse I can make is that with the players we have missing, it would be like you guys playing without (their equivalents) Briscoe, Moon, Peacock, Sinfield and Bailey (1st choice winger, centre, prop, captain and bench prop). But you have injuries also so there's no excuse. Good luck for the rest of the season, I'm still confident we'll be good enough to meet you again in some big games.

If you're going to be that pedantic, barely any players play the ball correctly nowadays

To be honest the PTB didn't bother, that Ablett was penalised for nothing In the build up was shocking .

| Thought the whole team had a very good match and our props in particular JP and Kylie were outstanding. With our backline showing the class they have with some good tries. I thought we annihilated Sarginson in defence all night so good tactics from the coach. Also I thought our kicks were ok and Wigans were dross (minus the 40/20) as they just kept on kicking it high to the back 3.
Just a thought for everyone I thought Sutcliffe again looked very good at LF. When Ward is fully fit where would we play him?
For Wigan I thought that Bowen was pretty good and as much as I intensely dislike I thought Clubb was very good for them.
