Do you have the latest odds on Bradford missing out on the play offs again this season? Could be worth a few bob.

So would I. I think it should be the only option, unless there is an out and out halfback in the academy who can play there.
I will despair If we play a second rower there.

That is the most dissapointing thing to be happening this coming weekend. Not that we have to play inexperience, or that we have top line players missing, but that we could end up with him again as Captain.
The guy simply does not deserve it, whether for one game or not. He displayed earlier in the season he is not captain material. He does far too many stupid things (discipline and defensive wise) to have the captaincy.
Captains should lead by example. Webb, Buderus, JJB would be far better options IMO.

Buderus certainly would be the obvious choice ...
...But yes, I think it'll be Captain Keef.

I'd go for Webb, as he's more likely to play the full 80 than the others

| No quarrels with Ablett getting a go at 6 to be honest.
He played a fair chunk of his Academy/reserve rugby there and has good hands for a back rower.
It's only the presence of the incumbent 6, 7 and 13 that have meant him changing his game as he's become a fixture in the first team.

So Senior does too many stupid things discipline and defensive wise to deserve the captaincy yet you put Webb forward as an alternative!

Yep, and?
What I actually said though is that captains should lead by example. I think you would find Webb's odd discipline indiscretions come at a point of him been last line of defence and stopping tries, rather than needless.
What he does with ball in hand however, and what he will probably be doing Saturday from half back, is organising the side.

I wouldn't class the amount of times he gives away a cheap ten metres by not being able to keep his mouth shut as "leading by example".

| I'd give Ablett the armband if i'm honest. Seems like a quiet man but would lead by example.

I'm inclined to agree with you plus how many times has he conceded a penalty in posession for lashing out or some other indiscresion to pi$$ the ref off.

He hasn't done that recently, well not if you ignore the 64th minute of Friday's game V Wakefield.

| Is 16 minutes ago (in playing terms) not recent enough?
Mind, his penalty and error count in the previous two Leeds games was exemplary.
