NRLNEWS RickyRicardo: Rumour has it that Greg Eastwood wants back in the NRL at the Dogs, and that Leeds will let him leave a year early.
Any truth in this? Hope not, excellent player would be a big loss!

To play the first 65 mins 5 days after a very tough game against Melbourne shows the fitness of the guy. It not as if we picked up injuries during the game and he was forced to play 65 mins, it was just natural otherwise there would have been no need for him out there for that long.

They don't need any of our players, there players are better according to some of the posts on their forum. |

Didnt seem unhappy and to want out when I last saw him two weeks ago.
Also, common sense, isnt it a bit early for anyone to say they are unhappy and want out after just being here 3 months? He will still be getting used to his surroundings etc wont he. Think this reporter etc is full of it.
Wont it still be Gregs 'honeymoon period'??

He's over here for the money, he's said as much (whch overseas player isn't?), he won't command a salary similar to what he's getting here back home, so why leave? Also leaving a year early would mean at the end of next season, as he's here for three. Sounds to me like someone's got the Buderus story and changed the names of the player and the Aussie club.

What a stupid statement.
We have not seen enough of Eastwood yet to form an opinion. Ellis is an hard act to follow. But at the moment Eastwood does look more dangerous with ball in hand. In defence I would think any player would have job looking better than Ellis. |
