1230.gif “You are playing a game of football this afternoon but more than that you are playing for England, and more even than that, you are playing for right versus wrong. You will win because you have to win. Don’t forget that message from home. England expects every one of you to do his duty.”:1230.gif |

All memories of the legendary venue which was Wilderspool stadium. Gone maybe, but never, ever forgotten.

What's that got to do with it?
It's a punt on the first try scorer. Where did kicking goals come into it

There is nothing ambigous about my predictions, I use the term "champs" every week in my predictions. So with that in mind and the big enough banner in my sig strip, should give you a little clue IMO.
p.s. there is only one champs in my eyes

No you haven't.
Week 1
Quote: pokerface "p.s. there is only one champs in my eyes
And in any other week the term 'champs' would be unambiguous but last week's WCC was between two reigning Champs so I'm sure you see my point. I'm not Derren Brown.
I scored your prediction as backing Leeds anyway so don't fret and you've not tried to pull a fast one after the event so everyone's happy.

| If Frosties was clever, he'd ask TVOC to review his scores before they are published. That way he ensures the integrity of the comp. I know what it's like trying to score 20/30 golf cards, a second opinion is worthwhile. Whether TVOC wants to or not is up to him

I haven't been asked to offer such a service, I don't think that it is neccessary and I wouldn't want to anyway.
I also feel that the current arrangement where posters are encouraged to check their own totals and a weekly summary of discrepancies published here viewtopic.php?f=17&t=446160&start=90 should be sufficient to ensure the competition's integrity.
I think the competition's administrator is actually capable of running the event to everyone's satisfaction. It's been a difficult start but things have improved and I trust will continue to do so until I can quickly sign off each week's results without any issues.
Job done.
