At the moment Rutter is very Bamford and not the type of forward I like to see, personal preference only.
One thing is we are heading in the right direction and if we can stay top 8 until January and buy the right player or 3 we should be making the playoffs at least.'"
Can see us bringing in a 10 and a left back in Jan.
Not good news on gnonto he could be out a few weeks

We do seem to have some bad luck with injuries.
I`m going for an impressive 3-1 today which should be fun as I`m with Watfords club solicitor and some of their big wigs .

| Top top game by Rutter today and I`m beginning to think I misjudged him.
Think you said the same as me Tad but he has made me eat my words and long may it continue.
Byram, Ampadu and Kamara very good.
Anthony will only get better.
James rocks and diamonds along with Summerville who caused them problems but needs to use his left leg now and then.
Ayling nearly gave me my prediction of 3-1.
If only he played a bit longer than 10 minutes
I also think their manager messed up changing their formation second half.

| amazing what playing regularly and confidence does. playing at a lower level helps too.

| Absolutely brilliant performance. Should have had 5 goals if not for their keeper.
Rutter was incredible, he’s a better creator than a finisher that’s for sure but you can really see the confidence oozing through now. Like we’ve said above it’s amazing what playing games does. He’s looking like a level above.
Delighted Anthony too, took his goal well. He’ll be important with losing gnonto for a month. Kamara was superb for his debut, looks very good, another good decision by Farke to bring him in and rest Gray.
Southampton away next, they seem on the ropes a bit. Could do with Ipswich and Preston to start dropping points soon, there’s a fair gap still, still early though

| I really liked the Farke interview after the game published on Leeds Live.
Basically saying he has told Rutter not to show the opponents up too much and instead of doing back flicks that might not come off look for the simple pass first. Or words to that effect.
Very measured response by Farke.

| Playing with a smile on his face and he is now showing signs of the player we hoped he would be.
Team is slowly kicking into gear, there’s still a hell of a lot of football to go but I do think we’ve more gears to go through and up.
After the blighted pre season we’ve cleared the decks and have begun to put together some great performances.

| Great game, we dominated from the first minute, Watford were never in it and never looked like scoring.
Rutter unplayable, confidence sky high, great to see.

| The blame for today's performance lies squarely at the Wally who went on radio Leeds last week saying 'i don't think we will lose another game, who's going to beat us?!!'

| Farke got so much wrong in that game. Not starting Rodon against one of the best high pressing teams in the league was asking for trouble. And then not pressing high and being passive against a team that struggles against a high press was really bizarre. Every time we pressed we won the ball in good areas.
Individually, Piroe was way off it. He's not very good out of possession, so he really has to make up for it by being clinical when he gets an opportunity. Cooper just puts the whole defence (and me) on edge, he's overly aggressive and always puts the pass receiver under pressure with his sloppy passes.
Really, apart from Struijk and Rutter, most of them had an off day, especially Farke. Hopefully, it's the kick up the backside they need.

Pretty much spot on JB.
No idea why he didn`t play Rodon especially as he had last week off.
Cooper was terrible and I worry every time Messlier trys to play the ball out.
We should have been at them right from the start considering their previous form.

Agree with all of the above. Thought Piroe was poor at 10. I’m still not convinced he’s best there. They’re much better when Rutter drops back and creates and Piroe gets on the end of things.
First bad one by Farke that today. Rodon was a huge mistake. Thought Kamara was sluggish too. Back down to earth big time and need to bounce back with a win next game

It had all the signs of over confidence from Leeds today. We were half asleep. I couldn’t believe we didn’t go after them early. We looked shell shocked at how Southampton dared to press us hard

| James seemed to touch the ball more than anyone, zero quality though.
