I noticed that Mitch thanked the supporters but said nothing about his team mates or the management ???? I think there may have been some ill feelings. If I recall, McD had issues with him also.

I thought all the messaging on this was very luke warm.
Sinnys comment felt very cold and clinical where as when someone leaves you normally get a lot more around their contribution.
Could be reading more into this than there is and ultimately it doesn't matter but it does have the feeling off a couple that's grown apart. |

I’d take a fit Garbutt over most of the other props currently running around in SL. There’s quite a few (most) of our pack who I’d have preferred to have been sold on instead. I think this is the issue. It’s also unlikely we’ll sign anybody of equal or superior quality. We should have added a quality prop to go alongside Garbutt. |

Having 2 Garbutt’s would have been the dream yes - but there must be good reasons why the club has made this call, and I think we have to trust in that. We’re not sure what end composition the new management is really aiming for yet. |

This is my worry: Peteru and Cuthbo lack "prop chops" for me, but if they play BR we have a ridiculous number. I know Leeds have carried an ethos of a mobile pack for a while, but we've lacked bite and go-forward for years. |

He's a big thing but I'm not sure he has he aggression for prop, and he's actually pretty mobile. We'll need to decide how best to use him. Bit of a potential Mitch Achurch signing unless we get it right. I think we got him for the same reason: NRL sides struggling to find his best position. |

His injury that just would not go away, now has miraculously cleared up now he has left leeds. Think this shines some light on why he was shown the door.
