Not quite true. If Paul Caddick just wanted to make more money, there were better ways he could do it. The balance sheet matters, but there's still more to a sports club than that.

Which sports were you referring to? Not many soccerball clubs turn a profit. No idea what the state of the finances are in Speedway, Ice Hockey, Basketball etc, but I'd guess there are faster ways to make a million. RU is rich sugar-daddied to the eyeballs as well.

the modern day fan of sports are getting pushed of going to sports they love, for an instance look at the price of Olympic tickets which was supposed to fair and even prices...if you could get hold of them

This is something that the coach says to my lad and he's 6 along with you'll all get a turn surley not to guys who need fire in thier bellys and winning bonus in there pockets.
