| Quote: G1 "OK, do nothing about it. Leave it as it is.
But I choose not to subject myself to that and I keep my disposable income squarely in my pocket when it comes to Hull away. Until or unless you do decide to do something about it myself, and many other potential visiting fans, will stay away.
That hurts your club. And it's your club as much, if not more, than the moron's in chav corner.'"
Crowds are at record highs at the KC stadium.
Also, its not my problem. Its a decision for SMC. Write to them and express your concerns if you feel that strongly about it.

It's not my problem either. Hull is simply not a nice experience for away fans. If they want my money change it. If they don't, they won't get it. Given that it's not so long since your club almost went belly up and gateshead had to be sacrificed to spare you I am surprised you would be so blase.

| Quote: Bal "Already done. Did the large piece of netting escape your notice? How much further away would you like them? Its a stadium, not a county'"
May I suggest it would be sensible to move them as far away from the away end as possible. If they were at the other end of the ground would the majority of your support not be capable of policing them given they are spotty, scraggy scrotes?
Quote: Bal "Hate to say it, but its been established that many of them are season ticket holders and are there week in week out. So not sure how that would solve the problem. We have one of the best CCTV systems in the league. There easily identifiable.'"
So the club does know who they are? If they are season ticket holders they can be banned, the T&C's on season tickets give the club carte blanche on this. This sets an example and will hurt the scrotes in the pocket. Should they re-enter the KC then the club has the full weight of the law behind them. It is the club that has to take the lead with zero tolerence, just like Leeds did on the shirts off issue I referred you to.
Quote: Bal "Actually, apart from upsetting you lot with those 'orrble Rugby songs which are no worst than what the South Stand come out with, they rarely do anything that would consitute a ban. And on the rare occasion that they have, like yesterday they have been ejected and assumedly banned.'"
Zero tolerence can easily address this, I'll give you another example, Leeds United have been known to have a few problems with crowd control
CCTV was used for the missile throwing incident. The first one of course been thrown by a Leeds fan on that occasion.
Hull FC and SMC have started an immediate investigation into yesterdays minor incidents.
Incidentally, when I was assulted at Headlinley a few years ago (as previously mentioned) - nothing was done and two stewards saw it.

| Quote: Bal "Really, should we move families out of the West and South stand and force them to sit in the East Stand? A place they obviously don't want to sit.
The actual only practical solution that I have ever heard is to simply shut that part of the stand, thus moving the problem further away.
By the way.... would you mind shutting the South Stand down for me next time I visit Headingley? Because there are sections of that are as bad as our Chav Corner.'"
The most practical solution is to wait until chanv corner is full during a game.
Chuck a few grenades and kill them all.
Problem solved.

| I come from an era when you could walk on the pitch at the end of a match and talk to players, I remember after a JP trophy game against Wigan at Headingley talking to Roy Dickinson, as he chatted to supporters. It's a shame you can't do that anymore because there are so many t@ts up for having a pop.
I once went to Twikkers to watch the Middlesex Sevens (I was invited - it was all day beer - WTF), and the day was almost ruined by the number of idiots who ran on the pitch, mostly in fancy dress, towards the end of the day as the ale had flowed. The stewards, quite literaly, resorted to beating the $h1 out people as their patience wore off.
I'm sick of people moaning about the reduction in "personal freedoms" we seem to have, when the fact is for things like rugby, we've lost the ability to walk on the pitch after a match and talk to players becuase we can't control ourselves. I always thought the great thing about rugby was that your team could lose, and you could be hacked off, but that you could realise that it had nothing to do with the opposing supporters (who have every right to be happy) and that all the players deserve your respect.

Hull are financially more secure than any other club in the league with the exception of Leeds. I'm not worried about that.
We have had lots of posts on our forum from away fans over the years we have been at KC commenting on how good an experience it is for away fans. You are entitled to your opinion. I know many Leeds fans enjoyed their visit yesterday and there was good banter outside the ground again.
I agree, its not your problem. If you feel upset, write to SMC or one of the Hull supporter forum groups and ask them to address it for you.

| I'm with you DHM - Often the highlight of the match was the final whistle and the race to get the player's tie ups. They had that linament smell you couldn't find elsewhere. Ah yes, those were the days.
Then Joe Lydon ted some supporter (probably with justification) and it all came to an abrupt end. Sad times.

Good. Their details are above. Write to them and tell them how. I'm sure your ideas haven't already been considered in the numerous meetings and forums.
And again. The "club" does NOT run the stadium.

OK, so you don't need my brass then. For the best as you won't be getting it.

Not in the slightest. I simply have no desire to travel to Hull anyway and subject myself to the experience of a couple of hours in the vicinity of the kind of individuals that inhabit the stand nearest away supporters. It doesn't upset me. I actually prefer watching away games in the pub or at home. It's a lot nicer. The people there have higher IQs and the beer is better.
If you ever do want or need my money (and the money of money other like minded visiting fans) you might want to do something to tempt me there. I have had a PM from someone suggesting you might be doing just that. Glad those that run the club are not as blase as you. Good news.

Fair enough.

Hull are a pro-active club. It wouldn't surprise me if they did take further action. It has been discussed enough.
If you had managed to grasp what I have been trying to tell you for the last two hours, you would have realised that.
Incidentally. Why do you keep referring to me as if I'm an official representative of the SMC? For the record, I'm not. "You will not be getting my money", so on so forth...
I will say again, as you have made the same mistake. SMC run the stadium. Not the club. Although, SMC do obviously take on Hull FC, Hull City and other users of the facilities opinions.
