| He could coach players to be so much better than they had been. His two years at Leeds had some of my favourite memories. That team was outstanding.
RIP Graham. A sad, sad day.

| A fantastic coach. He got players to play well above their abilities. Certainly helped build a successful foundation for the current crop. I went to the 10 year anniversary dinner in 2009 (terry Newton was also in attendance). What a great speaker, I can understand why he lifted players to the levels he did.
A very sad day.

| Were it not for Graham I suspect there'd have been a few of us who'd have given up on Leeds. RIP.

| Obviously loved by all Leeds fans no question , but the admiration and sense of loss expressed by the coaching world , both here and in Australia , truly defines the man .
A very sad loss indeed .
RIP Graham .

| The mark of a good coach is whether he leaves a club in a better state than he found it. If you apply that criteria (and ignore Hunter Mariners, an unfortunate victim of the SL wars) then Graham Murray was a bloody good coach.
Arguably responsible for turning Leeds around and getting the club pointing in the right direction for the likes of Hetherington and Caddick to take forward.

He took a team nobody gave a about, a team literally thrown together and took them to the WCC final. Another amazing achievement in a career which at the top level involved only one trophy but, as you say, he took every single one of his clubs forward.
