Leeds are current SL holders, have beaten us home and away this season and beaten Hull FC, Wigan and Saints to get to the final. Are as high as they are with half the team out this season, i'm not having it just because we won it last year.

Leeds haven't won the Challenge Cup since 1999. They've played in and lost three finals since then. Only two players at the club have a winners medal (neither won with Leeds) and only one of those was at Wembley and that was at the old one.

This season's league table doesn't lie, Leeds are 5th now but could be 7th by the final.

Leeds must surely be the biggest underdogs since Sheffield in '98 or Featherstone in '83

We are bookies favourites, and rightly so. Would expect Leeds to give 2-4 points on the handicap

why does anyone care who the favourites are?

i am reasonably confident simply because we are a much better team than last year, and despite losses to wigan at home, saints and leeds home and away, i have seen enough to know that we lifted in the majority of those games and a bounce of the ball could have made the difference in wigan (h) saints (h) leeds (h).
we can beat leeds in a final, this is a marked improvement on the last twenty years.

however leeds are leeds and the result is in the balance,

Bookies odds are based purely on the weight of betting, nothing else.

fact is we are possibly the two best teams to watch and the final should be a stunner.
