| Quote: Serge A. Storms "there can only be one choice - Catalan'"
I'd normally go that way as well and still think I would.WE've always beaten Catalans quite easily at home and next week will be their 4th road trip on the trot so maybe next week will be a hard game too far?
On the down side is the fact that they have some momentum (although that said the Wildcats performance against them last week and the Giants last night are possibly two of the worse looking teams on the night I've seen all season) a bit like Parammata in the NRL and they do have a massive pack and a very physical game especially in defence.
The risk would be that even if we do get over the top of them that it will be a very physical and draining game a week before the GF and could leave it's mark, particulary so if the Catalans are getting well beat and resort to a bit of biff baff.
All in all though I think if you'd said at the start of the play offs that we could play Catalans at home to get into the GF you'd have bitten
their hands off.
If Wigan win tonight then for me its a no brainer, send them to Saints.
However if Hull KR win, given our good record against them at home also, then maybe send the French to rough up the Saints?
Weighing everything up though,I still think we'll chose Catalans and thats who we'd have got given their lowest league position had it not been for this CCC (Club Call Circus)

| Catalans have to be running out of fuel travelling for 4 tough away games in a row just has to take it out of them at some time, it has thrown a spanner in the works though as they won't go down without a fight and I could see us picking up a few injuries.
If Wigan win then it's a no brainer but if KR win I'd be tempted to send the "AustraloFrancs" to the Saints

| no choice it has to be the dragons. we would have put 40 past them last night. the giants were dire, despite ganson helping them as much as he could. the dragons can't play like that against us, kicking on the third. we would hammer them with the amount of ball that the giants had

| In the unlikely event HKR are the slightly less rubbish team in tonights game, I would be thrilled to see theat huge, grumpy Catalan pack battering Sunt Ellins.
Wigan win..we send them to Saints.
HKR win.. we send Cats to Saints.

| I cannot believe anyone is actually debating who Leeds now choose, get the French over to Leeds and hammer them.
Send Hull KR to Saints.

I agree, but I hope it will be Wigan who goes to Saints.

| Even Daily Mail questioning Leeds may not be too keen to select Catalans.
Is there anyone out there who doesn't believe Leeds will pick Catalans rather than winner from tonight?

| After watching last nights game i thought Catalans all the way for Leeds next week. But then Nathan Brown said he would be suprised if Leeds pick Catalans. He said Catalans can physically stick with Leeds and Leeds should avoid them. He is correct Catalans on paper have the strengh in the pack to boss Leeds' pack. But in the history books every time Catalans have come to Leeds they have got a roasting.
I wouldn't like to be Bluey or GH! I suspect all the coaching staff and GH will be watching tonights game together...give it a good analysis...up until 2am...then get a conclusion!

If Hull KR get through tonight, it may look an good option to try a repeat of last Friday.
But the frogs are the dead cert I'd imagine.

| hold on here guys, we would have hammered the dragons last night. it's a no brainer, it has to be the fenchies. 4 weeks playing away, tough games, we have a week off,we have always hammered them at home.

| I think Saints should be worrying.
Catalans bossed Saints a couple of weeks back. Hull KR have done the double over Saints this season. And finally Wigan are more than capable of giving Saints a good physical test.

Your under-estimating Catalans mate. They have been playing really gritty as of late. OK there not the most fluent in attack but there defence has been solid and they have been grinding results out. Catalans have the ability to slow the ruck down and frustrate Leeds. And if Leeds fall for Catalans frustration tatics Leeds could lose the game plan. Nathan Brown is a quality coach and he wouldn't have said those things just for the sake of it - it his genuine opinion.
But dispite those things above i think i would prefer Catalans over Wigan i think.

How much do they have left though?
They are a grinding team but Leeds can more than match them in that area.
As for their attack, Leeds have boxed them in at Headingley and haven't troubled us, they've been blown away.
I mean if Leeds would have hit them with the same defence that KR had to edure last Friday in the opening 20, Leeds would have posted some serious points.
