Was a good debut, good clean distribution and good defence. The players were certaInly happy for him scoring the try. Seems to have settled quickly on and off field

Thought this at the game. Why bring in a player who has caused problems wherever he's been at the expense of a player who seems to get his head down and work hard.

Just what we need at hooker, good distribution, worked hard in defense, and got himself a try. Top effort playing the full 80.

Would love to see him start with Burrow as the impact player off the bench when he's back fit.

Me too-I think that would be the obvious selection. Not sure it will happen though

Thought Lunt really stood up well tonight. He took his try well and I was impressed with his distribution.

Proved his worth and hopefully with do well in blue & amber.

I could'nt have put that into words better myself fantastic debut, Danny Mags had a field day with good quick ball and the rest of the team benefitted as a result.

No coincidence that a much-improved defensive performance came when we play a hooker who can defend as a forward.

His acting-half distribution was excellent as well.

I've said this on the other thread but that was the best performance by a Leeds 9 since Bedsy went home.

It was a great debut but just to put a different spin on it he had plenty to work with in terms of options and willing runners in a team that were all at it for the full 80 minutes.
In contrast Mcshane has had a fair bit of stick when the a lot of the team have been off colour on the back foot or in the ST's game completely sh##.
I'm pleased for Lunt and think he offers plenty to us at 9 but lets not get too giddy when the whole team were good tonight in fairness.

The whole team were good tonite but alot of that came from quick dummy half play, thats something that we have missed all season.
Catalans have a very good pack that were made to look very ordinary tonite. I actually felt sorry for the legend that is Steve Menzies, he had a nightmare of a game.

Totally agree. Lunt showed what we have been missing playing inexperienced hookers. His decisiveness and accuracy fom dummy half was really impressive tonight. If this is a sign of things to come I'm glad the Giants signed Scott Moore.

Only had a few sessions with the boys, shows how tight knit the team is, for all parties to blend like that.
