| Bad news on Spence. Out for several weeks with a knee ligament injury. Assuming it's similar to other knee ligament injuries we've had, it will probably be at least 6 weeks.

| Very good performance after a shaky start.
Shame about Spence as he is an upgrade on Ayling.
Ampadu and Gray top class and we need to keep them fit and not overplay them which is going to be difficult,
Rutter took his goal well but he needs to be stronger holding the ball up and stop falling over.
I was giving him a 5/10 up until the last 10 minutes.
How on earth did James not score but got away with an assist haha.
Would you take 60 million for Summerville and Gnonto in January?

Need to work out how to break down teams at home who sit deep but looking good away on the counter

I knew I would cop it for the 5/10.
I did eventually give him 6 like I said up to ten to go it was a 5 from me.
Harsh maybe?
Ayling gets a 6 just
I think the thing that irks me about Rutter is the tippy tappy stuff he does before falling over.
He stays on his feet he has a better chance of scoring.
Listen I`m hoping he goes from strength to strength once his confidence is back.

| Quote: tad rhino "brilliant 3 points.
rutter been excellent but this win has been built on the back 4 and amapdeu/gray.
something that's not been said for 4 years'"
Yeah agree Tad. That was a very good away performance. Built on very solid defence and control in midfield. I actually thought we were a tad slow to move the ball in attack but were ruthless when they had a chance.
Rutter was very good, he’s improving fast but needs to stay on his feet more, but that will come, he’s only young. Piroe is different gravy, absolutely deadly in front on goal, he’s premier quality. Ampadu is a brilliant signing, was the best player on the pitch. Rodon and Strujik very good at the back as was Byram. Ayling was ok but a bit erratic.
Thought Summerville held onto the ball to much but he played well, he’s learning also.
Huge performances all round and a cracking 3 points. Hull away next which is never easy. Spence injury is a big blow. Was looking forward to seeing him rip it up. Shack will have to provide the cover there.

| I think that`s right Trebor and Shacks was unlucky to miss out Saturday but understandable.
Shackleton can cover both the FB`s now and fully deserved.
I might have been a bit harsh on Rutter eventually giving him a 6
Couple of friends of mine saying we shouldn`t be dropping Ayling for Spence as he brings calm and senior guidance to the young lads in the team.
I replied saying it`s Ayling who causes the calamity that the young lads have to resolve for him
Ampadu may be a doubt for Wednesday.

| 3 points tonight and we are cooking. Hull started season pretty well so won't be easy but i'm confident as they'll come out and play against us leaving space.
I wonder if Ampadu might be rested to the bench tonight also (it is a gamble though as he's a vital cog in the wheel), he took a heavy knock at the end of the game on Sunday, perhaps Kamara or Gruev might come in. Depends how much either has trained with the first team as yet as both were away on internation duty last week.
i might be tempted to play Shack at left back and Byram at right back tonight, Aylings legs might not hold up 2 games in 3 days..

Why not just play Shack at RB if you're taking Ayling out?
Think Ampadu might get a rest, we've got the depth now, so might as well if hes not 100%, its a long season!

Because i think thats Byrams best position and i think Shack is decent at LB. Byram has done well at LB but he's best at RB. So what i am trying to say is, play one person in their best position who is a very good RB and put the other where they are decent. Shack is about same at LB and RB imo..

| But Byram seems to be first choice LB, I know he can play both but getting a consistent team out and getting players playing together is key, Gnonto and Byram have been linking up well, the more they play together on the left, the better understanding they will get.

| byram is injury prone muscle wise. that's the only reason I suggested a rest as leeds only played on Sunday.

Yeah agree there good point. Losing Spence for a few weeks is a blow, Ayling needs a rest.

| byram on bench. I thought he wouldn't be risked so close to the last game.
james starting was a bit of a shock.
